I used to think those Pottery Barn pictures where all of the books on the bookshelves were the same color were pretty stupid. I wondered if people actually went to bookstores and said, "I'm looking for a book. Something in taupe would be nice."
But then I saw this:
I have to believe that these people don't read.

My best friend arranged her books by color, and I laughed at her...until I saw her bookshelves. they looked fantastic. I am trying to break out of my book-arranging rut by arranging them somewhat randomy; not one shelf of classics, one shelf of travel books, etc. But the above? Awful AND hideous!!
